At VASIA (Volunteer Advocates for Seniors and Incapacitated Adults), our mission is to ensure that vulnerable seniors and incapacitated adults in Johnson, Shelby and Hancock counties experience the highest possible degree of independence, health, comfort,and safety. Donate Securely Online
VASIA donations are accepted through the Johnson County Community Foundation and Blue River Community Foundation websites. Please select EXISTING FUND and specify VASIA when donating on the JCCF site. Please select VASIA of Shelby County Fund when donating on the BRCF site.

Birthday Celebrations
Provide an encouraging note, gift card or birthday cake and ice cream to celebrate a VASIA client's special day. Our volunteer advocates will deliver these sweet treats, making clients feel valued and remembered.
Music and Flowers
Sponsor a vase of flowers from Bud & Bloom or a musical performance by The Marshall Band to brighten a client's day.
VASIA Angel Tree
Participate in our annual Angel Tree initiative from November 15 to December 15. Select an ornament from the tree located outside the VASIA office at the Johnson County Courthouse, and deliver the specified gifts. Our volunteers will wrap and deliver them to our clients, ensuring they feel the warmth of the community during the holiday season.
